Who We Are
The Reverend Bob Albert
Rector
Bob has served as Rector of the Anglican Parish of Huntley
since July 2025. Born and raised in Ottawa, he is happily
married to his wife Tracy; they have two adult children and
two grandchildren. Bob is an Anglican priest in the Diocese
of Ottawa. Before ordination, he spent his career as an
executive in business and technology and continues to be
active in community service.
Bob enjoys listening to and playing music and staying
active through weight training, CrossFit, karate, cycling,
hiking and cross-country skiing. He also enjoys time with
his family and animal companions.
As Rector, Bob provides spiritual and pastoral leadership,
leads worship, supports parishioners through life’s joys and
challenges, and works with parish leaders to help Huntley
discern how we can serve our three congregations and the
wider community.

Jessica Eyre
Parish Administrator
Jessica was born and raised in Ottawa and is the eldest of
three. She was homeschooled throughout her school years
and graduated with honours from Algonquin College’s
Professional Writing program. Her background in writing
and communication, together with her warm and organized
approach, is a natural fit for parish administration.
Jessica spends her summers in her grandfather’s
hometown of Grand Bank, Newfoundland, and enjoys
travelling and meeting new people over a good cup of tea.
Her interests include her Christian faith, her three cats,
writing, reading, tablet weaving, cross-stitch, art, music,
history and science.
As Parish Administrator, Jess is often a first point of
contact for the parish and helps keep our shared life
organized and connected. She responds to parish
inquiries, supports newsletters and other communications,
prepares worship materials, maintains parish records and
registers, coordinates volunteer schedules, assists with
rentals, keys and building needs, and supports the Rector
with day-to-day administration and pastoral scheduling.

JP St-Amand
Cemetery Administrator
JP brings more than 25 years of senior leadership
experience from both the federal government and Minto,
with a background in operations, administration, change
management, property and asset management,
procurement, and health and safety. Now retired, JP enjoys
spending time with his wife, Lisa Lindhard, whose family
has deep roots in the Carp community.
Much of his time is now spent helping with Lisa’s horses
and barn life. He also enjoys Bordeaux wines, collecting
sports cards, vintage audio equipment, listening to vinyl
records, ancestry, local history and heritage.
As Cemetery Administrator, JP looks after the day-to-day
administration and coordination of the Parish of Huntley’s
cemeteries. He supports families with compassion and
clarity, coordinates burials and interments, assists with
plots and columbarium niches, maintains cemetery records
and maps, and works closely with funeral homes, clergy,
contractors, monument companies and the Cemetery Committee.

Our parish is also supported by lay leaders who help care for the practical life of the parish and represent our three church communities.
Mark Stalter
Parish Treasurer
Mark helps us take good care of the financial resources
entrusted to the parish. He works with the Rector, Wardens
and Parish Council on budgeting, financial reporting and
the responsible stewardship of parish finances.
Colin Puchala
Rector’s Warden
Colin serves the whole Parish of Huntley, supporting St.
James the Apostle in Carp, Christ Church in Huntley and
St. John’s on Sixth Line. He works closely with Rev. Bob
and our other parish leaders on practical needs and the
future direction of the parish.
Jeff Poland
People’s Warden — St. James the Apostle, Carp
Jeff helps represent the St. James community and brings
the perspectives, questions and needs of its congregation
into the wider life and decision-making of the parish.
Pam Ross
People’s Warden — Christ Church, Huntley
Pam helps represent the Christ Church community,
listening to parishioners and helping ensure their ideas,
needs and concerns are part of our parish conversations
and decisions.
Laurie Armstrong
Chapel Steward — St. John’s, Sixth Line
Laurie helps care for the practical needs of St. John’s and
the congregation that gathers there, helping ensure this
much-loved church remains welcoming and ready for
worship and community gatherings.
