Worship in the Parish of Huntley has a long-standing history in the community
of West Carleton and continues to reflect its rural heritage. Made up of
three churches, the parish serves a wide constituency of people from lifelong
members to high-tech newcomers, people of every age and situation. Each
church has a character of its own and we hope that you will feel welcome
to experience all three to find one that suits.
As Helen Rivington wrote in, The Best of Times, a history of the parish,
"Consistent from pioneer days to today is the Church and our
involvement in Parish life. Self-styled communities grew and here in Huntley,
the Parish was divided into three distinct congregations. They are as different
as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost but as one as the
Trinity."
All three churches are led by one Rector, Father Stewart Murray, so three
services are held each Sunday, at times that rotate among the churches.
Please see our Service Times page for the different
schedules.
